 It was an absolute honor to run for House Seat 28B during the special election.  During that incredible 28 day campaign I had the opportunity to meet many amazing people, and due to their energy, excitement, and positive support I am choosing to run again.  The citizens of 28B know the real issues.  We know the number of Americans without health insurance is rising.  We know our schools continue to struggle with inadequate funding placing a greater financial burden on our communities.  We know our roads and bridges are in dangerous condition and cannot wait to be repaired.  We know state cuts in aid to local governments have caused sharp increases in property taxes.  All of these issues and many more can be soundly addressed through reasonable, responsible government.  We must be willing to explore all sources of financing and focus on responsible funding instead of confusing fiscal responsibility with government neglect.  I will work very hard for the people of 28B to keep an open mind to find reasonable solutions to our real issues.
